About House No.4 - House No.4

House No.4 is an independent artist community in Tehran founded in 2014 by Mehdi “Peter Pirhosseinlou”. In recent years, House No.4 has been formed as a team focused on organizing musical events. And, the community has developed into an important platform for artists from the alternative and experimental music scene of Tehran through which they can build their network and freely exchange their works. Many joint projects, collaborations and events have emerged from this dynamically growing network.

Peter Pirhosseinloo

Founder, Manager & Curator

Peter Pirhosseinloo is Founder,Manager and Curator of House No.4 , an independent music organization, based in Tehran. He started to play music when he was 12 and when he was 19 began to perform in some Rock bands..He studied western classical music in Tehran Conservatory at the age of 23. Since then, as a composer and sound artist, he has worked in different theaters, contemporary dance group and with some movie directors as well. As an organizer he has tried to bring up a different movement in independent music scene by collaboration of musicians of various genres like Electronic,Experimental ,Jazz, Alternative and Contemporary classical music in some of his events. He believes it's very important for Tehran music scene artists to accept each other more and make harmony together.

Sina Cheraghi

Event Coordinator

Former developer, part-time teacher/facilitator, full-time learner and aspiring happiness mentor, occasionally executive producer and indie music journalist. I work as an event coordinator @ House No.4 which is a community with a chaotic but near-the-life atmosphere. I enjoy anime, analog photography, hiking, helping others, playing with words and things like that.

Vedad Famourzadeh

Idea consultant

Vedad FamourZadeh is vibro-acoustic engineer IRCAM (Paris) and Sharif University of Technology (Tehran), and former PhD candidate at University of Technology, Sydney, he is now lecturer of Audio Technology at Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch, Faculty of Arts & Architecture. In his sound installations, he concentrates on an embodied and immersive experience of. His focus is on rekindling intrigue for the details that define a place, on listening closely to minutiae of everyday sonic life in an urban world of crowded noises. He has been involved in idea development of projects of House No.4 since the beginning and he has also participated as sound artist in some of House No. 4 events.

Aran Borouzadeh

ASST ART DIR/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Aran Borouzadeh is known as "Aran" founder of "Graph Platform" is a self-educated musician, singer-songwriter, alternative music artist, sound designer, record producer, experimental musician and filmmaker from Tehran, Iran. He has done several live shows in Tehran music scene such as "The Gate of Tehran" and "Days of Experimental Sounds" Festivals by House No.4 . He is currently working on his debut album. www.qrqn.net

Shaghayegh Haririan

Art & Cultural Consultant

Shaghayegh Haririan has been art &cultural consultant of House No4 since 2016. She believes that No.4 is a movement in contemporary Tehran that could be a great way for less known artists and specially musicians to express themselves and get promoted. She also has B.A in Art & Cultural Management, has been into music from her childhood and playing bass guitar for some years now!

Parastou Manteghi

Communication

Parastou a current ICOM (CIMCIM) member has been active in various cultural fields for nearly 10 years. She believes art and culture are intertwined with one-another and together base the true history of humanbeings. House No.4 community is like a child to her, she has been there since the inception of the community’s notion. She does everything for the child to grow and hopefully be influential on Iran‘s music culture.

Reza Babaei

Website Manager

Reza is a programmer living in virtual world of the net, trying to keep his interests in the real world. Mostly loves music and traveling and he has followed them professionally. He has worked in House No.4 since summer 2019 as the website manager. Helping to progress of developing movement of Iran’s music scene is his goal.

Sepideh Shayegan

Executive, Consultant & Social Media

Sepideh has been cooperating with House No.4 community since 2017 as an Executive Member and Consultant of House No., and also manage social media. Sepideh is a piano and keyboard player in some bands, interested in meeting and interacting with other musicians as well. Actually, helping out some genres of music to be spread by holding events and helping related musicians to present themselves are her actual reasons of her presence in the team. In addition, part of the charm of working in No.4house is being on familiar terms with many experienced musicians and having fun with people with quite same interests and concerns.

Majid Jamshidi

Consultant

Majid is an author, poet and painter in Tehran. He has helped and consulted many young artists towards the right path in their careers. He has assisted House No.4 to form and possess its right shape since the very beginning. Hs is consultant and guide in the team
